This chimney is a severe safety hazard to surrounding properties... I am a realtor and home inspector and this chimney at 8 N Baton Rouge (which fell onto the neighboring property causing severe damage) has not been addressed. The chimney fell on April 13th of 2020...and the combustion gasses are emitting well below the needed height of 3 ft above the roofline. Not only are the combustion gases a health concern, but the structural damage of the chimney is also a safety hazard. The city really needs to step in because it's clear the owners are not going to do anything about it. Accidental injury is one thing, but injury due to negligence is pitiful.
