The sewer inlets are completely clogged with debris on both sides of Baton Rouge at Winchester Ave, at the bay. The drain at the bulkhead at the same location is clogged. This has caused a coupe of feet of flooding, as far away as Jackson and well down Vassar Square. Keeping the inlets open should be done regularly. The trees on Vassar Square are the cause of the debris. The water and debris flow to Baton Rouge. I observed the street sweeping machine last Tuesday going down the street too quickly. It was not wetting the street prior to sweeping. It was hardly picking up any debris and blowing a lot up onto the pavements. A more thorough street sweeping of Vassar and Winchester would help aliviate the problem.
